The Outlore
At The Outlore, we redefine live performance and theatrical productions through immersive entertainment and innovative storytelling. Based in the vibrant city of Cape Town, we push the boundaries of traditional theatre to offer audiences unforgettable and groundbreaking experiences.
Our journey began in 2020, amid the global upheaval caused by COVID-19, when co-founders Liam Tamejen Gillespie (choreographer and dancer) and Kimberley Buckle (writer, director, and theatre maker) joined creative forces.

Your Visit
Parking
Street parking is available on Loop Street and Bree Street. Additionally, a paid parking lot is located at Heritage Square, opposite Jerry’s Burger Bar.
Bar
Our venue features a fully licensed bar with a modest selection of refreshments, including all the regular favourites. Regrettably no outside alcohol is permitted on the premises.
Disability Access
Please note that our venue is located on the second floor and does not have elevator access. Unfortunately, it is not wheelchair accessible.
Food
We do not serve meals at the venue, apart from popcorn and occasional snacks. However, there is a variety of restaurants and cafés in the surrounding area to enjoy a pre-show dinner.
